About This Workshop

In this 3-hour workshop, join Dara Kurtz, author of I am My Mother’s Daughter: Wisdom on Life, Loss, and Love, and learn everything there is to know about how to craft a heartfelt, meaningful letter. Dara will share how, twenty years after the death of her mom, she found a bag of letters written to her from her mom, and how reading those letters changed Dara’s life.

During the workshop, you will receive a handout containing samples and templates for the three types of letters we will discuss: Just Because; Special Occasion; Legacy. You will also get journal prompts. And at the end, you will leave the workshop having completed, or be very close to completing, a letter of your choice, and be motivated to bring this meaningful tool into your life.

In this 3-hour workshop you will:

• Learn about Dara’s inspiring story
• Understand the 3 different kinds of letters and when to use each
• Learn the benefits of real handwritten letters versus other forms of communication — especially in today’s here-today/gone-tomorrow digital world
• Discuss the history of the “Legacy Letter” (which is meant to be left behind when you die) and why it’s so impactful for those who remain

Dates: Saturday, May 1, 9-12 pm EST
Time: 9 am - 12 pm ET
Price: $147

Space is limited and time is short so sign up today!
