Most recently, Claudia was the CMO and Head of International Business Development of bareMinerals for Shiseido Americas Corporation where she led end-to-end rebranding initiatives for the $600MM natural make-up brand. Additionally, she identified global market opportunities in order to develop relevant proposition across all
consumer facing touchpoints.
Previously, Claudia served as President/CEO of Gurwitch Products, recently acquired by Shiseido, and known for Laura Mercier, ReVive and Nyakio brands. Earlier roles included President, Avon Beauty, Global President, mark. and executive positions at The Estée Lauder Companies including General Manager for stila.
Claudia’s talent for energizing brands at all stages has earned her numerous industry accolades. Beauty Inc. named her one of the Top 50 Most Influential People in Beauty. She has also been the recipient of the Cosmetic Executive Women Achiever Award, Women’s Wear Daily Beauty Biz Award for Innovative Marketer and Girl Scouts of Greater New York Woman of Distinction.
Committed to giving back, Claudia co-founded The Laura Mercier Ovarian Cancer Research Fund. She currently serves on the boards of Cosmetic Executive Women (CEW), Fashion Group International (FGI), and the Stamford Yacht Club.
Wendy Sachs
Wendy Sachs is a master of the career pivot. She is the author of the critically acclaimed Fearless and Free--How Smart Women Pivot and Relaunch their Careers – a book O Magazine chose as a “title to pick up now.”
An Emmy-award winning TV news producer, Wendy has worked at Dateline NBC, CNN and FOX. She was also a Capitol Hill press secretary, public relations executive, CNN contributor and editor-in-chief of Care.com.
A frequent speaker, Wendy has given talks to Google, LinkedIn, the World Bank, and Ziff Davis among others. She also gave a TEDx talk in November 2017 in Boston called “Harnessing the Power of Humiliation.” Wendy has written about politics, work/life balance and women’s issues for multiple publications and appeared on dozens of radio, TV shows and podcasts including the TODAY show, Good Morning America, Fox, MSNBC and CNN’s Headline News.
Wendy was recently listed on Forbes.com as a “40 Over 40” Women to Watch and is currently directing and producing, “SURGE” a documentary about the historic number of first-time female candidates who ran for office in 2018.
